Freddie Hart and Kayla Gates are Mount Vernon born and raised — proud graduates of Mount Vernon High School's Class of 2017 and long-time members of the community they now serve. When the opportunity came to take the reins at Black Cat Asphalt Sealing, they didn't hesitate. This is their home, these are their neighbors, and they take that seriously.
Freddie brings a Bachelor's Degree in Business from the University of Northwestern to the operation, giving Black Cat a sharper business foundation while keeping the same hands-on, owner-operated approach customers have always relied on. Kayla brings a genuine commitment to quality and a belief that every customer — whether it's a single-car driveway or a commercial parking lot — deserves the same level of care and attention.
